For a 5 star rating you will need to find all the clues, and guess all the questions that are important to the case to correctly arrest or apprehend the suspect with minimal damage to the city. Since most of the clues are still clear in your head for most of the cases, playing the game again will help finding any clues you may have missed.
Street crime cases are linked to their corresponding department desk, see The Long Arm of the Law trophy for full information.
Replaying cases will not erase any stats you may have already, it will only update the current stats and add on to what is already there.Īs you are playing toward the 5 star rating be sure to play any remaining street crime cases. Step 2: Replaying cases for the 5 star rating There are no missable trophies, so you can play the game without any worries and enjoy the story. The story-related trophies will pop up as they should along with the desk-specific trophies that are needed for the platinum. L.A Noire is best played first without any spoilers, so I advise going in playing the game without a guide so you can get the full experience. There are others that have a 1 to 2 minute delay.
Trophies seem to not be popping for some that have completed the game and/or have the 1.01 Patch installed. If there are any reports please post them.
There have been claims on collectible trophies not popping so it would be best to back up your L.A Noire Saved Data to make sure something like this doesn't happen to you. There have been workarounds, including deleting the Game Data or restarting your PS3. There have been reports that some trophies are not popping once you fulfill the requirements. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Also a big thank you to Schnopps for bringing this to our attention. Please see this thread for more info on this issue. You will be left with only one course of action if you wish to continue and that is to delete your data and start over from the beginning. Make sure when you replay a case and are asked to overwrite a save file DO NOT delete the Main game save file prior to beating the game as it will hinder (put a halt) to your main story progress. The main game save however, WILL NOT have 'Replay' following it in parentheses.Įxample: "The Fallen Idol" <- Main game save You will notice that there will be multiple save files with the title of the case followed by 'Replay' in parentheses. If you replay enough cases you will fill up the allotted amount of save slots and be asked to overwrite a game save the next time you want to replay a case. However should you replay cases as you go pay close attention.
If you play through and beat the game without replaying any cases, you'll be fine. Noire will create two different save files. There have been cases on this forum and reports on RockStar's forums, where players have overwritten their main game save file, nicknamed by a few as the Alpha Save File (It's the one without (Replay) attached to the file name).
Players will take on the role of Cole Phelps, a decorated war veteran, who rises through the ranks of the LAPD by solving a series of gruesome murders and other crimes that bring him face-to-face with the dark heart of Los Angeles during Hollywood's Golden Age.
